At Marylee Marre Functional Medicine (MMFM), we take time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and understand the whole person. Our patients come to us for individualized care and a partner who will help them make sense of their health. We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who brings sound clinical judgment, warmth, patience, and genuine curiosity to that work.

What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive functional and integrative care through a mix of office-based and virtual visits. Approximately 75% of care will be virtual; initial consultations should take place in a designated office space in Franklin.
- You’ll conduct detailed evaluations and physical exams, review medical histories, interpret laboratory and diagnostic findings, and create clear, individualized care plans. You’ll teach patients about lifestyle and other appropriate interventions, follow their progress throughout their program, and collaborate closely with the clinical team.
- You’ll also prescribe and manage medications when clinically appropriate. We value a thoughtful approach to prescribing and use medication when it serves the patient’s needs. Clinicians with hormone replacement therapy expertise may have a greater prescribing focus.
- Respond to patients’ messages within 24 hours Monday-Friday (you are seeing far less patients, so you will not be inundated with messages.)
- Although this job requires independent responsibilities, you will have a shared administrative coordinator to help with any timely administrative tasks.

Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee NP or PA license
- Current board certification
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration
- Physician collaboration or supervision arrangement, as applicable to your role and Tennessee requirements
- Malpractice coverage
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
- One to two or more years of hands-on clinical experience, including experience in conventional medicine
- Experience or advanced training in functional or integrative medicine
- Interest or experience in natural fertility, autoimmune conditions, Lyme disease, chronic viral infections, hormone replacement therapy, mold sickness, gut health, or related areas
- We’re open to supporting a strong clinician who would benefit from additional training in natural fertility, gut health, adrenal health, mold sickness, and broader functional medicine care.

Expected time: Approximately 1–4 hours per week to start with an anticipation of organic growth overtime
Schedule: Flexible, primarily Monday–Friday; optional weekends
Location: Franklin, TN, with approximately 75% virtual care
Compensation: $2,200 per six-month patient programs, which includes 12 patient visits (30–45-minute follow-up appts, initial appointment is 90-minutes). This is program-based compensation, not an hourly wage.
